The Arab-American Group (TAAG) is an organization connecting all professionals while embracing the Arab culture. Whether you’re looking to network for business, meet new friends or simply experience a piece of the culture, TAAG will create unlimited opportunities. The organization welcomes people of all ethnic backgrounds interested in exploring the Arab culture and engaging in their social gatherings. Meet Our Founder
Gus Fakhouri is the Founder of The Arab-American Group. He’s a first generation Jordanian-American, born and raised in Chicago, IL. He recently began his philanthropic journey as he decided to make a change to something that has grown on him over the last decade.
“As we get older, we may feel a disconnect from the culture we once grew up with. In this emerging world of technology and western society, it’s up to us to keep our culture alive. We want to connect members of our community and build meaningful relationships, while sharing a piece of our culture to others. Our events will range from intimate professional gatherings to large vibrant events indulging in Arabic music, food and entertainment. Join our group by becoming a member, share your input and grow with us.”
